Teen Driver Ed Courses

If you are 14 years and 9 months to 17 years of age, you can take driver education in Louisiana!

  • 30 Hour Classroom + 8 Hour Behind-the-Wheel | $450

    This comprehensive driver education course provides students with a foundation of LA state driving laws and the values involved in operating a motor vehicle in a safe, defensive manner.

    This course includes:

    • 30 hours of classroom
    • 8 hours of one-on-one behind-the-wheel driving time
    • OMV written exam (passing with a score of 80% or higher)

    The behind-the-wheel portion of the class includes, but is not limited to orientation to the car, basic driving procedures, parking the car, driving in reverse, driving on the highway, driving in residential neighborhoods, and driving on the interstate.

    This course is designed to prepare students to succeed on the OMV written test, which will be given at the end of class.

  • Additional Driving Lessons (2 Hours) | $150

    This two-hour private driving lesson with a professionally-trained instructor can be customized to focus on your needs. Practice specific maneuvers, work on the challenges of driving in certain environments or prepare you for the road test.

    Need more practice driving? Take two additional private lessons (two hours each) to work on specific maneuvers from a professionally-trained instructor. These lessons can be customized to focus on your needs.
